Engineering behaviour change in leadership

A global engineering firm came to us with a clear goal: embed a new set of leadership behaviours across both field and office teams, at all levels. The strategy was solid – they just needed a roadmap and the right tools to make it stick.

Turning strategy into action

First, we designed the roadmap

We kicked things off with a focused Pathfinder Workshop to bring the right people together.

The output?

A clear, practical plan for the comms, learning and tools that would help people understand, care about and act on the new leadership behaviours.

Alongside the rollout roadmap, we developed visual prototypes to bring the ideas to life.

"It was so much fun working with you — such a pleasure! You were able to translate our ideas into reality — thank you for that!"

A digital campaign to drive change

Book a call

With the roadmap agrreed, we built out the digital campaign around our Inspire, Train, Sustain framework – designed to engage and empower leaders at all levels through comms, learning and tools.

Inspire

We launched with a short, sharp video that ditched the corporate speak and focused on real moments that matter. It showed what the new leadership behaviours looked like in practice – from control rooms to construction sites.

We also created tailored self-assessments to help leaders reflect on what the change meant for them personally, not just the business.

Train

Next came interactive digital learning. Built around true-to-life leadership scenarios, it helped teams tackle tricky situations like pushback on-site or conflicting priorities.

We backed it up with live masterclasses, run internally. These gave people the chance to dig deeper, ask questions and explore how the new leadership behaviours applied to their day-to-day.

Sustain

To keep the momentum going, we co-created on-the-job toolkits with frontline teams. Checklists. Conversation guides. Prompts built into daily routines.

We also designed micro-learning refreshers and nudges in mobile-friendly formats – perfect for leaders on the move.

And we kept the loop open with regular pulse checks and feedback cycles, so the approach could evolve as the change bedded in.

The result?

A change programme that didn’t live in a PowerPoint. It showed up on site. In meetings. In everyday decisions.
