Pulse competency assessments
A behaviour and competency assessment that shows you where your people are before and after learning, so you can see what's changed and provide tailored next steps.
How it works
You're expected to prove learning works. But most initiatives start without the data to do it.
With L&D sometimes seen as a cost-centre, you're under pressure to demonstrate that learning initiatives are moving the needle. But getting business data can be slow and out of your control. Pulse can help; benchmarking behaviour before you start and after rollout, so you spend on the right thing and can prove the difference. All without any employee data leaving your systems.

What is Pulse?
A lightweight competency assessment, tailored to measure the competencies, skills, or behaviours you're aiming to shift with your learning initiative. Your people complete it in minutes on any device, get instant feedback on their own strengths and gaps, and the data flows straight back to you: mapped by skill, category, team, or individual. It runs on your LMS or a SharePoint site and it's designed so that data never leaves your systems. No new platform to buy or data security questionnaire to fill out.
When would we use it?
It's designed to work around a learning initiative, at either end or both.
Run it pre-learning to benchmark behaviour before you start, check you're fixing the right problems, and arm facilitators or managers with data.
Run it post-learning to benchmark again and see what's actually changed, and/or to help people build their own tailored next steps off the back of their results.
How does it fit with our LMS or SharePoint?
It's built to slot into what you've got. On an LMS, you upload the SCORM file, assign it, and results come back as clearly labelled interactions you report on as normal. On SharePoint, you embed the files we send and results feed a list you can analyse or automate.
Where does our employee data go?
Nowhere it shouldn't. Your user data never leaves your own environment, whether that's your LMS or your SharePoint. You get the insight without the data governance headache.
Do we have to write the questions?
No. Tell us about your initiative and our survey writers craft the questions for you to approve. You get all the rigour of a well-built diagnostic with very little work at your end, branded for your organisation throughout.
Can we run it more than once?
Yes, and that's where it earns its keep. The pre- and post-learning pattern is the core of it: run the same Pulse before and after an initiative to measure the difference. You can also reuse your core diagnostic for new audiences and focus areas, so the more you use it, the sharper your picture of capability across the business.
Low risk, and quick to prove
Pulse runs on the systems you already own, with no new platform and no per-user surprises. Start with a single diagnostic on one team, benchmark them pre- and post-learning, and roll it wider once it's shown you what it can do.
