Digital toolkits that turn a future-skills strategy into everyday action

We partnered with Motability Operations, the organisation behind the Motability Scheme, which supports 860,000 disabled people across the UK, to develop the skills their people need to thrive in the future.

Developing future skills

With customer needs shifting, government policy evolving and the EV revolution in full swing, Motability Operations wanted to build a workforce that’s ready for whatever comes next.

The Learning Team launched a Skills Builder strategy: 24 core capabilities, tracked and developed across the organisation. The approach is intentionally blended, combining live training, digital tools and peer-to-peer coaching to create a learning culture that’s agile, inclusive and ready for the future.

The strategy relied on digital content that would work at scale, empowering colleagues to upskill and apply new knowledge. That’s where we came in.

Toolkits that turn strategy into action.

We collaborated with MO to create a suite of digital toolkits, bringing key capabilities like Leading Change, Managing Teams and Creating Inclusive Environments to life in practical, accessible ways.

Each toolkit is a hands-on learning experience, designed to empower employees and sustain change.

Every toolkit includes:

1

Reflective questions

Questions that tailor the learning journey to each individual’s starting point.

2

Real-world tools

Practical tools, brought to life with examples and ready to use.

3

Realistic practice

Opportunities to practise and build confidence in realistic scenarios.

4

Personalised action plans

Plans that turn what people have learnt into change back on the job.

Designed for everyone

Every toolkit meets WCAG AA standards and has been user-tested with neurodiverse learners, because inclusion isn’t optional, it’s essential.

Lima Delta have exceeded our expectations in every way.

The team developed engaging and innovative toolkits and content that were instrumental in delivering our up-skilling L&D priorities. They truly felt like an extension of our team, taking the time to fully understand our needs and business. Their patience and understanding as we juggled priorities were remarkable.

Designed for impact

The toolkits draw on a set of core principles designed to deliver impact:

Start where people are

Reflective questions meet each person at their own starting point, so nobody’s bored and nobody’s lost.

Learning by doing

Confidence comes from practice, not reading. Realistic scenarios let people try new skills before they need them for real.

Plans that trigger action

Turning learning into a specific plan – what I’ll do, when and where – makes following through far more likely.

Part of a blend

Toolkits sit alongside live training and peer coaching, so each capability is revisited in different ways, not taught once and forgotten.

Future skills, in a practical, accessible form.

A suite of toolkits that brings Motability Operations’ key capabilities to life, designed for everyone and ready to use on the job.

We highly recommend Lima Delta for their exceptional service and dedication.

We will continue to work with them as a preferred partner.
